Briliant works!
Archive for March, 2009
2009 March 2 died one of the most famous Lithuanian poster grand - prof. Vytautas Kaušinis (b. 1930 02 01). 1961-2000 m. professor taught at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Through his long creative path, he held 12 personal exhibitions. V. Kaušinis posters had a strict style of minimalism, almost asceticism - both whipped color range, and composition, and exploitation of the font. As with other known senior generation postermakers Juozas Galkus, V. Kaušinis works had considerable influence from the Op-art. Here is largest online exhibition of Vytautas Kiaušinis works.
